Touring Suggestions

Flinders Chase National Park

Proceed to Flinders Chase National Park passing through the varied landscape and changing vegetation. At Flinders Chase see the New Zealand Fur Seal Colony, Cape De Coudic Lighthouse and Remarkable Rocks.

Kangaroo Island

Time permitting a visit to the platypus waterholes is close to the Interpretation Centre. Head to Hanson Bay Koala Sanctuary to see the Koalas.

Close by is Kelly Cave and if desired a 45 min underground tour is available and hopefully catch sight of Crimson Rosellas.

At Seal Bay walk on the beach amongst the Australian Sea Lion Colony. Visit Vivonne Bay (recently voted Australia's most beautiful beach) is taken after an energetic walk to Little Sahara, a sandy desert, some 6 kilometres from the beach.

A visit to Lathami Conservation Park is a must, with the possibility of seeing the rare and endangered Glossy Black Cockatoo (Only 250 left in the world).

On your way back to Correa Corner visit Emu Bay beach, one of Kangaroo Island's favourite.

Norm and Madge will be happy to arrange 1, 2 or 3 day tours with any of the experienced tour companies that make visiting KI such a memorial experience.
